Falanster. Plans-2015. Part 2

What is to be awaited in 2015? This year will be full of experimental social and technological projects. We are going to explore, build and make pilots in the field of technologies, crowdsaurcing and free knowledge development.
 
'Partitipation tool'. We will contunue the active part of the project. We will gather a team of developers and sociologists, hold sprints on improvement of the functionality of the platform, attract partners, make reaserch, support the drafting of the bill on "Socially beneficial activity" according to the Road Map.
 

 
Wikification. The main idea of the project is to expand Wikipedia's content and increase the number of active participants in the belarusian wikimovement. We have planned a bulk of workshops with topic communities in Minsk and other regions. We will prepare conditions for the integration of Wikipedia into University courses and Schools. The topic months in Wikipedia will be supported by our team offline activities and starting the Wiki club. It's important to stress that it was made online survey about development Wikipedia in winter, which stress that audience wait for knowledge about local phenomenons, events, people and sights. The research will define the precise the Falanster's intervantions during 2015 year.
 
[Volunteers]. The Falanster's projects need progressive and pioneer ideas and approaches. Therefore in 2015 we are ready to actively engage volunteers, graduates and trainees in our activities, connected with the projects mentioned as well as with the ones proposed by volunteers semselves.
 
[Kist]. This branch is desinged to improve the Falanster financial provision. Its aim is to increase the amount of financial sources and include crowdfunding activity into our projects.
 
Tasty Creativity. In 2015 the project will continue. We will focus on publishing, research articles making and  records creation. Also we plan to hold open lectures on copyright alternatives and present the project in different communities and groups. We are going to strengthen the contact with the officials dealing with the pulic license issue. The main goal of the project for 2015 is to to complete the empirical research and make conditions for crowdsourcing copyright reform.
 
LawClinik. Judgement Day. We get back to study laws, in order to push forward our other projects. First of all it concearns the project "Tasty Creativity" and therefore we will start with the public license matter. Cince the problems of copyright lie beyond it actual "borders", any other legal questions nedd to be answered. In the end we will produce a guide and a vide course on copyright issues.  
 
Mesh Club. This is an experimental project, which had been planed for the previous years. Starting from January the club meetups will finally start. The main research field of the club is the best mesh network building practices. We will test different net sofware, firmaware and hardware. Over the spring-summer period we plan to implement a platform about wifi map in Minsk. As a result we expect to envolve creative people into the mesh club team and local and topic communities, where such technologies can be useful and vitally needed.
 
[Virtual Falanster]. It is called upon to develop electronic infrastruture of the organization. It includes as servers, as online tools (website and wiki). The practical task of the branch can be fullfiled during the drupal club and mesh club meetings and linux meetups.
 
Linux meetups. The sequence of regular rallies will continue. They will be devoted to open source technologies. Now the meetups are held twice a month on Sunday (Friday?).
 
Ars-nova. This is an educational project group on graphical tools usage. The peuliarity of the progect is that its main focus lies on free and open source software, for example, inkscape, gimp and so on. As a result participators plan to create posters, leaftlets, online and printed Helper for Wikipedian newcomers.
 

 
Build the Falanster. It is the most significant direction into internal development. The main aim of the branch is dynamic Falanster organizational growth. What will be with the Falanster in a year? How will discussion and decision-making be? What ethic and aesthetic, microclimate will be in the Falanster? The related projects are Kist, Volunteers, Virtual Falanster. The successfull of the field will be measured by level of internal communication, infrastructure sustainability and new Falasnter's members.
 
It is important to stress that the level of activity in the above mentioned projects may vary. Some of them have one coordinator and some are implemented in the Talaka way (they are marked with square brackets []), i.e. as soon as a number of urgent problems turn out.
