Ars nova. Digital art
"Theory and practice sometimes clash. And when that happens, theory loses. Every single time." Linus Torvalds
New art. The club of learning open source graphic applications.
Club aim: learn how to work with open graphic applications and make manuals in belarusian for self-development.
Today if to ask a designer, a photographer or an artist about applications that they use for editing photos, pictures, vectors or for drawing, lots of them will answer that they use Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw.
These applications are a private property of corporations, they are good enough, but, firstly, they monopolise the market that make no choice for the user, secondly, not everybody can pay for the license.
And not a lot of people know that there are also open source analogue for that applications as Gimp and InkScape.
Club's target audience: people who are interested in new technologies and like experiments (arists, photographers, designers and so on).
