The e-Participation Tool
Do you like current laws? Would you like to fix or change something in our legislation? Today you can be a coauthor the first Belarusian law made by people and for people! The Falanster finished the one step of the e-participation tool for law-making, and gathers team for further the e-platform development.
The e-Participation Tool is an online platform for collective law creation by wide stakeholders and netizens collaboration. The aim number one is the Law "About Common Good Activity and Charity". Simultaneously the platform will be piloted for the law draft making and will be checked as a technology for the collective participation. Everyone is welcome to join, especially:
- urban communities (environmental, cycling, sports, yard, cooperatives);
- communities of people with special needs;
- non-profit and non-governmental organizations;
- social entrepreneurs;
- business with corporate social responsibilities;
- any citizens, groups, initiatives which are interested in more close, inclusive and transparent collaboration of netizens in public affairs and projects;
- volunteers, sponsors, donators in civil and charity activities.
How does the Platform work:
- Any volunteer can initiate discussion of the law draft. Thet present a law draft or just a description of the futute law.
- Any other platform user (e.g., organisation leader, activist, volunteer, independent lawyer, citizen) can suggest edits, remarks and ammendments to a certain part of the law draft.
- Every interested user has an opportunity to discuss author's ammendments and vote pros or cons it. Anyone can add their own notices or suggestions for the law draft.
- After a wide discussion all the most important fixes and offers will be collected in one document and passed to the Parliament (or another state institute with law-making power).
