What we are aiming at?
- exploring existing and potential world of numerical technologies,
- proclaiming esthetics of being a social geek,
- finding ways to change the world.
Who we are expecting to come?
Fans of cyber genre, writing loners, admins 404, cyber cookers, you-are-a-programmers (socially declared programmers)...
Everyone with a strong desire to broaden their outlook on this particular theme, share one’s opinion, find soulmates, create together cyber fashion and brand new numeric future.
What will be happening?
We’ll be watching films by topics : cyberpunk, dis/utopia, digital technology world, science fiction, society and technology (both feature and documentary films) and selected by Falanster team and frequent visitors according to the list. The meetings will be arranged once a week on Wednesdays at 19.00 and will take place at Falanster premises from March till May 2016.
How it will be happening?
Keeping up with Cinemabunker* tradition the whole season will be divided into sets – meetings on specific themes. One set – one film. But unlike the classic Cinemabunker we’ll adhere to one theme through the season.
“Alternative view formation on different themes and current social issues will take place in the Cinemabunker. There a brand new World vision is intended to crystalize.” – message by the initiative enthusiasts.
Roles and opportunities
here is a possibility to join film screening not only as a viewer but as a moderator, speaker, poster artist, social media manager improving his/her karma::
- Moderator – arranges films, meetings and questions, which will be discussed after film screening, checks time and discipline...
- Speaker – is welcomed to introduce his/her problem (the film is dealing with) vision and it’s solution (15-20 min).
- Artist – creates a poster.
- Social media manager – distribute a film announcement with texts and posters.
How to join a film set?
Film screening took place every Wednesday from March till May.
When:18.30-19.00, 19.00 – report, if it was prepared, 19.20 – switching on the film. Every Wednesday (from March till May).
