Change Rules! The "Cyclist's Helper" is just a reason!

Today The Falanster offers everyone to join share knowledge in bike movement. One of the participation example is work with "Cyclist's Helper".
How to participate
The workline with "The Helper" goes through...
- additions and amendments (February 2014), which will be related for cyclists' needs and will help them in city environment,
- creative work with pictures, viral images and designs for The Helper (March 2014), which attract attention and hook people's spirit,
- spreading of The Helper in different belarusian cities, start of the new wave focused on bike, on the place of bike in city landscape, on changing road rule and infrastructure.
Why The Helper?
The Helper is just a cause for communication. The second step may be changing the rules of road.
The Helper is a reaction for not precise rule for cyclists and it helps to understand the rules better, to support your bike, to avoid destructive situations on the road.
The Helper is a challenge for bicyclists, to use the transport more often and to change rules to more suitable for all participants of road's motion.
Where is the origin?
In 2012 we felt that many wrong processes in the city occur. Cars parked on grass and near our houses, there are big traffic jams and cars' gas, noise overloaded the center, some time it is impossible to go by foot between cars. There is not enough money which city authority can subsidize permanently into the road and car infrastructure (wide road line, big bulk of parkings, city squares). The problem doesn't vanish.
At the same time different communities found an effective way for solving the issue for the citizens. It is a bike as a transport tool. However, it seemed, the initiative which is very helpful for society didn't meet understanding. The Rules of Road focus on old economical regime and suppress alternatives of cars. There are also tons of infringement of building reglaments (for example, kerbs' height). The problem moved to cyclists' hands.
Local Solution
Many Falanster's activists are active bicyclists. They decided to collect knowledge and previous generation experience about the Rule of Road, city environment principles and spread them in cyclists' communities, thereby to increase knowledge level and to form an active community. The global thoughts faced with a local solution - "The Helper for Cyclist"(on paper and in digital form).
The first version of the Helper was published last summer (2013), it was interesting for several cyclists' communities. Therefore The Falanster continues to heat brains of all traffic participants this year.
You can join to the activity on every step: offer an idea, add changes straight on wiki, draw, mounting, distribute The Helper in different belarusian cities.
