The Falanster's School
The School is the answer to the need to systematize and share knowledge accumulated during the process of Falanster's practice.
History
In the middle of 2011 and early 2012 We've already tried to generalize Falanster's knowledge for the Zabej's period 2006-2010. We studied and put in order our experience. As a result we created "The Activist's Assistant" brochure (it's a brief manual with useful advices for the people involved in the activity).
Now the aim of the School is transition from The Activist's Assistant to Knowledge Base.
Task
To systematize existing components of Knowledge Base and to form in The Falanster the culture of timely using, filling, updating and transferring knowledge which is kept in the Base. The main aim is the active use this knowledge in the future activity.
Structure
The School is built by the principle "one meeting - one (sub)topic". We hold meetings ourself and invite external lecturers or practicians who are ready to share the knowledge.
The first session had the next structure:
- The realized projects evaluation ( 2011-2012).
- Teamworking. Instrumets of projects, routine and situational activity.
- Teamworking. Ground of information security.
- Teamworking. Social networks and widgets.
- Website editorial. Infrastructure, topics, working format.
- The projects activities planning.
- Organizational chart and decision making.
- Image of organization.
- The working strategy with volunteers.
- The organization as a subject.
The results
As a result we began to form Knowledge Base on the engine wikimedia. Now knowledge are available at wiki.falanster.info.
For whom?
We invite in the School everybody who works in a team and wants to participate in the future Falanster's projects most effectively or just wants to share knowledge. But the School is a non-profit project, so we don't pay lectures or speakers.
How to join?
You can join any meeting. For Falanster's participants desire and perserverance are enough. Newcomers should fill a form.

The future School sessions will be announced in "The Falanster's calendar", on this site pages and in our social networking service profiles. Look for updates or write ideas with suggestions.
