How to join us?

Volunteering

It’s a volunteer non-paid participation in Falanster projects which includes:

  • An unlimited period of cooperation, but it is established at the beginning and may be prolonged;
  • A volunteer can have different coordinators in different tasks;
  • The job can be done remotely but, as a rule, a real cooperation gives more experience and brings more pleasure.

The professional practice of students

It’s a voluntary participation in Falanster activities to develop professional skills received in the educational organisation. Conditions:

  • Usually, it’s no longer than 1 month;
  • The internship time is determined by the educational organisation, the tasks are mainly given by Falanster;
  • Falanster agrees to apply the intern for the educational organisation and concludes the agreement;
  • The practice is considered completed when the stated objectives are achieved in time, with a good quality and are approved by the head of the practice.

Internship

It’s a voluntary participation in the organisation activities to apply knowledge in practice and to get references for the future profession.

  • The intern concludes the agreement for the fixed period of time;
  • A more experienced Falanster member assigns the tasks for the intern;
  • Most of the tasks are decided on with the team, so sometimes personal attendance is necessary;
  • The internship is considered successful when the objectives are achieved in time and with a good quality;
  • For the internship period, the coordinator is chosen who takes the pass/fail decision on the results.

Volunteers’ feedback!

Elizaveta Ivanova, one of the students who went through hell and high water, shares her impressions.

"That’s great that the organisation allows working with the real and diversified tasks, I’m very happy about the opportunity to contribute to the common undertaking and fulfil yourself. Besides Falanster gives an essential practice of communication and teamwork. The main advantage is getting new knowledge that you don’t get at university. During the internship I managed to work with different tools, I find work with wiki especially useful. I really adore the free environment and a friendly team."
