New opportunities for free culture spreading in Belarusian
The branch team Creative Commons has finished the license translation to Belarusian. Now it's possible to choose licenses for your own writing piece or blog on the corresponding website page creativecommons.org.
It's known, that the translation is not perfect and all Internet users, if they want, can join and correct it, or send some remarks to e-mail falanster.by@gmail.com
If an author doesn't have his or her own blog, there are a number of websites where it's possible to add content under free licenses. The most popular among them are:
- youtube, vimeo (video)
- wikipedia.org (text content)
- slideshare (presentations)
- soundcloud, jamendo (music)
- flickr (photo)
- commons.wikimedia.org (various multimedia, but mostly photos)
It's important to note that the license's connection is not convenient on all services, and very often it's necessary to appeal to Advanced Settings.
From their side, Creative Commons' partners in Belarus will help authors to add free licenses to their blogs, individual writing pieces, or will consult about converting content to free licenses.

Reference:
Creative Commons - it is the range of wide-spread licenses for various content that allow authors to interact with users flexibly; it means the opportunity to transfer or leave some rights on product using. Unlike usual copyright-licenses, where "all right reserved", Creative Commons allow only those rights that an author has wished to give.
